Perfect Winter Wedding Venue

I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Falcon Manor, where about 80 guests attended during the day and around 100 in the evening. It was one of the best weddings of 2024, and here's why!

Falcon Manor is a perfectly-sized wedding venue that comfortably accommodates 80-100 guests, creating the cozy, vibrant atmosphere of an amazing winter house party where everyone is having a fantastic time. The slightly crowded vibe adds to the party's charm, making it feel lively and full of energy. Live band contributed a lot to achieve that atmosphere as well.

The main reception room is conveniently located next to a small living room, the main entrance with a real fireplace, and a spacious bar area. This layout keeps your guests in one central area, ensuring the party stays together and everyone enjoys the celebration to the fullest.

Nestled on the outskirts of the bustling market town of Settle and surrounded by the stunning Yorkshire countryside, Falcon Manor is also an ideal base for exploration and relaxation. If you plan to stay after the wedding, you can choose from 16 uniquely designed bedrooms and explore the surrounding park at your leisure.

The Rafters Suite, where the bride prepares, is both spacious and luxurious, making it a must-book for your pre-wedding stay.

I had the pleasure of photographing Holly and Neil’s wedding at Falcon Manor. The ceremony took place at a charming church in a nearby village, followed by a reception at the venue. If you prefer a civil ceremony, Falcon Manor is fully licensed to host it on-site.

The back garden provides a stunning backdrop for group portraits. Although we encountered some rain in March, we captured beautiful indoor portraits, including a couple’s shoot, thanks to the venue's elegant staircase and beautifully decorated reception room.

The venue also allows for sparkler exits, and we concluded the evening with a stunning sparkler shoot!
